Utah Governor, Gary R. Herbert, and his wife Jeanette were welcomed by Tom Mower in his incredible home in Hobble Creek Canyon on June 22nd, 2010. The governor expressed his love for this country and the opportunities for prosperity it offers us. He referred to Tom as the embodiment of the American dream, being born in a humble home with wood slabs for walls and no indoor plumbing, but now living in his beautiful 65,000 square foot estate.
Governor Herbert also referred to the Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife organization, of which Tom is a member and significant contributor, as an important wildlife conservation and preservation organization that increases healthy populations of wildlife throughout the Western United States. Tom’s involvement in this great cause has made it possible to promote the protection and enhancement of wildlife habitat, assist in providing quality wildlife management programs, educate the public about the role hunters play in wildlife conservation, and perpetuate the family tradition of hunting and fishing.
We are grateful to have such an amazing philanthropist driving the success of Sisel International.
