My Sisel’n Summer Euro Tour was just that, a super hot tour full of energy and power! My focus on this tour was to not only announce the new products that are now in the European Catalog, but to remind everyone of the mission that this great company is based upon. Tom Mower Sr. and Tom Mower Jr. are going around the world to educate, inform and empower millions of people to take back their lives and avoid harmful ingredients at all costs! The Mower’s were pioneers in advocating for no harmful ingredients and in identifying the toxins, chemicals and heavy metals in our everyday personal care, home care and cosmetics.

As many of you know, I love the business building aspects of this industry and it allows me to do an in-depth training on leadership. The training is “The Leader Within: Uncovering Greatness!” and allows each of us the opportunity to look inward at our own traits, skills and experience levels. Each of us has traits and skills that are inherent in our DNA, like Intelligence and Integrity, which by the way, are required to get into leadership in the first place. Intelligence and Integrity are tickets to the game! The other 5 traits and skills, some of which you are born with and others are learned and developed, are:

  • Motivation: You are born with the skills and characteristics to motivate others to   achieve something greater

  • Positivity: You are also born with a positive outlook and demeanor

  • Decisiveness: You learn and develop this skill through experience

  • Execution: You learn and develop this skill as well, through experience

  • Passion: You have to be passionate about what you do to get others around you excited about the opportunity

In a future blog I will share with you the outline of the training so that you can identify, within yourself, areas that are inherent and those that need to be learned and developed. Each of us has some amazing skills to share with others, but we need to be willing to be vulnerable and open to learning and open to new ideas!

Florence, Italy:

The tour started in one of my favorite, and one of the most beautiful cities, Florence, Italy, on the 9th of July. I took the train in from Rome and had the opportunity to see the country while traveling there. It is absolutely gorgeous to see the rolling hills and the beautiful green foliage from all sides! It was wonderful to be picked up from the train station by my good friends and great leaders, Luana Sicari and Riccardo Vieri. To see first hand the leadership of Luana and Riccardo is amazing! The first day we kicked off the tour with our top Diamond Leaders who had traveled in from all over Italy, France and Sweden! Some drove 1,200 km to be there! The energy was palpable and it was incredible to meet so many of you that I see your names on the recognition lists and the leader boards, but haven’t had the chance to shake your hand or give you an embrace. Riccardo Vieri trained the team on Presentation Skills and how to be more impactful from the stage and in front of groups. He went over body language, voice inflection, hand positioning and a myriad of techniques that people spend $1,000’s on learning. It was amazing to see the leaders reaction and their desire to learn from a great presenter and motivator like Riccardo. I of course, spent the rest of the day on Leadership Training and regardless of the language barrier, which I was lucky enough to have Luana Sicari there to translate for me, had an amazing impact on the Diamond Leaders! It was great to stroll through the historic streets of Florence with the leaders and have a history lesson on this beautiful city!

Starting with the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, rich in history as it is believed to have been built in Roman times (the first documented existence of the bridge was in the year 996). It then led us into the city center to see the cathedrals and buildings around the pedestrian streets while visiting with my good friends Ricccardo Vieri, Luana Sicari, Gianvito Ricciardone, Vincenzo Piscitello, Fabrizio Di Silvio, Sara Tagliente, Emanuele Caputo, Letizia Vittucci, Nicola Gerardi and Pascale Federle! The following day was a super powerful event with Vincenzo Piscitello as the emcee. He created a fantastic flow and energy for everyone, with testimonials on products, compensation and recognition – it was a special event to say the least! Riccardo Vieri and Luana Sicari spoke on the power of online-buying and changing your store to change your life! I had the opportunity to launch the new products and talk about the business.

Berlin, Germany:

My next stop was in another one of my favorite cities, Berlin, Germany, and as you may be aware, Berlin holds a very special spot in my heart! I love the fact that Berlin has become one of the greatest metropolitan cities in the world in-spite of its rich history and division in the not-so distant past. I had a chance to see Berlin with my dear friends and great leaders, Christian Rombach and Dalia Haensch. We did a tour of East Berlin on the Spree River on a riverboat and it was absolutely spectacular! What an incredible mix of the historical buildings and the newest, most modern architecture created the most phenomenal cityscape! To think that just a short 27 years ago the Berlin Wall came down and it was time for friends, family and a city to reunite! When you look at what has transpired over the past 27 years and see the progress that has been made by the great German people, it’s amazing! Someone captured something I said while in Berlin at a meeting back in 2010 after touring the city and visiting the Berlin Wall and the museum:

“It is amazing what the human spirit can do for the progression of one culture. Follow your dreams and the world will open doors for you where there were only walls.” -Aaron Rennert

While in Berlin, I discovered that it was a perfect venue to meet with our great leaders and talk, train and mingle while listening to the thoughts, ideas and feedback on how we can take Sisel to the next level! It was wonderful to see so many old friends that have been in Sisel for years and a part of the Mower Mission like Tomas Klunner and Angelika Garbaya, whom I had not seen since the Leadership Convention here in Utah. Christian Rombach has been with Tom Mower Sr. for 23 years now, training and educating people on the products and opportunity to create financial freedom! He has spent nearly all of his adult life introducing people to the Mower Mission and helping them with their knowledge and understanding about this great industry.

Kosice, Slovakia:

It took planes, trains and automobiles to get to Kosice, Slovakia, to see our staff. I won’t get into the details, but the long trip was certainly worth the opportunity to spend time talking about the vision, strategy and direction of Sisel International! It was wonderful to see our office manager, Amalia and her husband Michal, along with the chance to meet their new baby boy, Michal Jr. It was wonderful to get to know the team there and spend time with them and feel their energy and commitment to Sisel International! Having a chance to have dinner with our staff: Silvia and Robert Nemeti, Maria Stanova, Laura Stanova, Katarina Juhaszova, Slalomir Latka, Katarina Kalinicova, Amalia, Michal and Michal Jr. Sekerakova, while sitting in the center of Kosice was spectacular!

Budapest, Hungary:

The last stop was in Budapest and what a wonderful way to end the tour! I had mentioned to Miklos Bossanyi and Katalin Eotvos that I wanted to see and visit the city of Budapest, not the tourist spots, but the real city. I wanted to feel the energy of the people and walk amongst them. We spent hours in the city, walking, talking and seeing the architecture and the history. Amazing to hear the sounds of this grand city and be able to be a part of it. I have been to Budapest a number of times, but it seems that I always end up in the same area along with all of the other tourists. This time it was all about the city. We ate dinner at a wonderful restaurant and talked about the business, the team and how Sisel can really help so many people in a tough economic time. I absolutely cherish the moments of training the leaders and teaching them how to develop and train their distributors to become leaders. There is not a greater responsibility that we have in this business then helping our people become successful! It is our obligation and the Hungarians are passionate about success! The meetings were exceptional and the time and focus were impeccable. Great recognition and to see so many people advancing in their ranks within Sisel was a pleasure to behold. It was great to meet so many new people that were enthusiastic and passionate about the business and the products!

What I realized as I departed for home is that it had been far too long since I had visited Europe and met with the phenomenal leadership there. Amazing to see the growth of these markets and to see so many of our distributors developing into phenomenal leaders!
