Rank Advancement Bonus Rules

chart-1

  1. To qualify for the Rank Advancement Bonus (RAB), all Distributors must follow the Sisel International’s Master Distributor rank requirements. The ranks are calculated monthly according to your Qualified Downline Volume (QDV). All ranks require that Distributors qualify as Platinum, and from 2-Star on, the Master Distributor Ranks also include Leadership Requirements on different legs as shown below. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the unique nature of SupraH2 water machine purchases, we are unable to include any H2 volume in calculating the Distributor’s Qualified Rank for the Rank Advancement Bonus.

Qualified Downline Volume (QDV): The amount of Downline Volume (DV) that is used towards your master rank after the 50% rule has been applied. The 50% rule simply states that no more than 50% of your DV can come from one leg. This includes both Sisel Volume and H2 Volume, or volume that comes from the sales of Hydrogen Generators.

  1. 1-Star and 2-Star Master Distributors must have a minimum of 2 qualified Platinum Distributor legs in order to qualify for the RAB.

  2. Due to the unique nature of SupraH2 water machine purchases, we are unable to include any H2 volume in calculating the Distributor’s Qualified Rank for the Rank Advancement Bonus.

  3. For 1 – 4 Star Master Distributors the payments will be split into two equal payments. The first payment will be paid the month that the qualified Distributor achieves the new rank. The second payment will be paid the following, or second month, as long as the Distributor maintains an equal or higher rank.

    • EXAMPLE: A new Distributor achieves the 1 Star Master Distributor rank of in the month of January with 5,000 QDV. When January’s commission’s pay on the 15th of the following month, or in February, the new Distributor will earn half of the $500 RAB, or $250. In the month of February the new Distributor must maintain the 1 Star Master Distributor Rank, again with 5,000 QDV, to qualify for the other half of the RAB, or $250. Again, the second half will be paid with Monthly commissions, or by the 15th of March.

  4. 5 – 10 Star Master Distributors must maintain a minimum of 80% of the QDV required of the rank that triggered the RAB each of the subsequent months for the duration of the payout. 5 – 10 Star Masters must also qualify at the rank that triggered the RAB at least once every six months to continue receiving payouts. This includes QDV and Qualified Leadership Leg requirements.

    • EXAMPLE: A Distributor who qualifies in January for the 5 Star Master RAB will receive their bonus payouts over the following 6 months (e.g. from February – June). During this period, the distributor must maintain a minimum of 80% of the 5 Star Rank QDV each month, one of which must be at full 5 Star Master Distributor qualification including required leadership legs to receive all of the monthly bonus payments.

  5. Timeframe to achieve the next rank begins the month after the previous rank is achieved.

    • EXAMPLE: A distributor who qualifies in January as a 1 Star Master will then have 2 months from January, or until the end of March to reach 2 Star and earn the first installment 2 Star RAB

  6. To qualify to earn the Rank Advancement Matching bonus (RAM) on personally sponsored 1 – 4 Star Master Distributors, the enrolling sponsor must be a minimum of one rank higher than the Enrolled Distributor. The Matching Bonus will be split into two equal monthly payments. The first payment will be paid the month that the Personally Enrolled Distributor achieves the new rank. The second payment will be paid the second month, as long as the Personally Enrolled Distributor qualifies to earn the second RAB payment and the Enrolling Sponsor maintains the minimum of one rank higher than the Enrolled Distributor.

  7. For Master Ranks 5-10 Star the enrolling sponsor must maintain an equal rank or higher than the enrolled Distributor for the duration of payout. The RAM does not compress; only the qualified enrolling sponsor may earn the RAM.

    • EXAMPLE: A New Distributor achieves the rank of 1 Star Master (5000QDV) in January and is paid half the bonus, or $250. The enrolling sponsor achieves the rank of 2 Star Master in January and is paid the first payment of the RAM, or $250. In February the new distributor maintains the rank of 1 Star Master (5000QDV) and earns the second half of the bonus, or $250. The enrolling sponsor also maintains the rank of 2-Star Master in February and is qualified to receive the matching bonus of $250.

  8. Rank Advancement Bonus will be calculated and paid with the monthly commissions, which are deposited to the e-wallet by the 15th of the following month. Commissions from RAB do not count towards the minimum $1500 required to earn the Luxury Auto Bonus.

  9. Failure to abide by Sisel’s Policies and Procedures, specifically sections 4.3 Bonus Buying and 4.30 Stacking, will result in disqualification for the Rank Advancement Bonus program and may result in additional action/sanctions. Returned product may result in disqualification and any bonuses or commissions paid out may be deducted from subsequent bonus and commission payments until the commission is recovered, according to section 7.2.1.

  10. For distributors who joined prior to Oct 1, 2016, September 2016 Qualified Downline Volume (QDV) will be used as the baseline. If a distributor’s QDV is less than 50% of the way towards the next rank the distributor can still earn the RAB for the next rank as long as they achieve the rank within the required timeframe. If the QDV is 50% or more of the way towards achieving the next rank the distributor is ineligible for the RAB for that rank. The distributor will need to achieve 2 Ranks above the rank corresponding to their September QDV to earn the RAB. The time remaining to earn the RAB starts once the distributor achieves 1 Rank above the rank corresponding to their September QDV.

    • EXAMPLE A: In September 2016 a distributor’s cQDV was 16,000. Because the distributor’s QDV was less than 50% of the way to the 3 Star rank, the Distributor is eligible to earn the 3 Star RAB. If the Distributor achieves the rank of 3 Star Master within 2 months, or by the end of November, the first RAB payment of $1250 will be paid. The distributor will need to maintain the rank the following month, or in December, in order to earn the second RAB payment, or $1250. The distributor will have 3 Months from November to qualify for the 4 Star RAB.

    • EXAMPLE B: In September 2016 a distributor’s cQDV was 22,500. Because the Distributor’s QDV was greater than 50% of the way to the 4 Star Rank, the first RAB that the distributor will be eligible for will be the 4 Star RAB. The time remaining to reach the 4 Star Rank will not begin until the distributor achieves the 3 Star Rank, meaning if the distributor achieves the 3 Star rank in January, the time remaining to achieve 4 Star rank will be 3 months, or by the end of April.

  11. The Rank Advancement Bonus is a promotional bonus, and is not guaranteed to remain in the Sisel Global Compensation Plan. Sisel reserves the right to change the Global Compensation Plan at any time.

  12. Sisel International may impose a cap of 3% of net commissionable volume reserved for Rank Advancement Bonus payouts. In this event RAB/RAM commissions earned would be reduced proportionately between the qualified participants.

Additional Examples:

Example 1: Nancy joined on Oct 1. She has 2 months from the time of enrollment to achieve 1 Star Rank. If she achieves the 1 Star rank in December, with 5000qdv and at least 2 Platinum legs, she will earn the first half of the 1 Star RAB, or $250. As long as she maintains the 1 Star rank in January she will be paid the second half of the RAB, or an additional $250. If she achieves 2 Star rank within 2 months of achieving 1 Star, or by the end of February, she will earn the first half of the 2 Star RAB, or $750. As long as she maintains the 2 Star rank in March she will earn the second payment of $750 for a total of $1500. She then has 2 months from February to earn the 3 Star RAB. If she achieves 3 Star rank in 2 months, or by April, she can earn the 3 Star RAB as well, and so on, all the way to 10 Star!

Nancy’s enrolling sponsor Sue is working with Nancy and helping her along the way. As Nancy earns the Rank Advancement Bonus Sue can also earn the Rank Advancement Matching (RAM) bonus as long as she is at least one rank above Nancy in the same month that Nancy earns the RAB. If Nancy achieves 1 Star rank in December and Sue is at least a 2 Star rank in December, Sue will earn the first half of the RAM, or $250. If Nancy maintains the 1 Star rank in January, and Sue maintains her 2 Star rank, Sue will the second half of the RAM, or $250, for a total RAM of $500. If Nancy earns the 1 Star RAB in February but Sue is still a 1 Star, Sue will miss the RAM bonus. But then, if Nancy earns the 3 Star RAB in April, and Sue is at least a 4 Star in April, Sue will earn the first half of the 3 Star RAM, or $2500.

Example 2: Sam joins on Oct 1. He has 2 months from October to reach 1 Star Rank with 5000CQDV. If Sam reaches 1 Star rank in December, he will earn the 1 Star RAB. Now he needs to go for the 2 Star RAB. It takes Sam 6 months to achieve 2 Star rank, or until June. Since he did not reach 2 Star within 2 months of reaching 1 Star he will not be eligible for the 2 Star RAB, however, he can get back on track towards receiving the 3 Star RAB, 4 Star, and beyond!

Example 3: Amy joins October 1 and experiences explosive growth. She flies past 1 Star and 2 Star, all the way to 3 Star within the same month. As long as she maintains the 3 Star rank for the next month she will earn the full 1 Star, 2 Star, and 3 Star RABs for a total of $4500! She will then have 3 months from October to earn the 4 Star RAB.

Amy’s enrolling sponsor, Bill, is a 4 Star rank in October. He will earn the first half of the RAM for the 1, 2, and 3 Star Ranks that Amy achieved in October. As long as Bill maintains his rank in November he will earn the second half of the RAM.

Example 4: In Sept 2016 Mike had 1000QDV. Because he is less than 50% of the way towards the 1 Star rank, if he achieves the 1 Star rank in Nov 2016 he will receive the first half of the 1 Star RAB, or $250. If he maintains the 1 Star rank in December he will receive the second half of the RAB, or an additional $250.

Example 5: In Sept 2016 Jane had 2,500QDV. Because she is 50% of the way towards reaching the 1 Star rank she is ineligible for the 1 Star RAB, however, once she does achieve the 1 Star Rank the time remaining to earn the 2 Star RAB will begin. If she then reaches 2 Star within the time frame and maintains the rank for the following month she will earn the full 2 Star RAB.

Example 6: In Sept 2016 Suzy had 80,000QDV, or the volume of a 4 Star, but she is missing 1 of her leadership leg requirements and is paid as a 3 Star. Because the baseline is based on CQDV, and not Paid Rank, her goal will be to reach 5 Star (150,000CQDV and leadership legs) within 3 months, or by the end of December.

Example 7: In Sept 2016 Paul had 65,000QDV, or the volume of a 3 Star, but he is missing 1 of his leadership leg requirements and is paid as a 2 Star. Because his volume is over 50% of the way towards 4 Star (75,000CQDV) his goal will be to reach 5 Star (150,000CQDV and leadership legs) within 3 months, or by the end of December.

Example 8: In Sept 2016 John had 120,000QDV and is paid as a 4 Star. Because his QDV is more than 50% of the way to 5 Star he will need to achieve the Rank of 6 Star to earn the RAB. It takes him 6 months to reach 5 Star, or until March 2017. The time remaining to earn the 6 Star RAB will begin and he will then have 6 months from March to reach 6 Star. He works hard and reaches 6 Star in September 2017, or within the 6 months. He will earn the first installment of the 6 Star RAB paid out with his September commissions by the 15th of the following month. In August his QDV drops to 270,000 and his rank drops to 5 Star. Because his QDV is still over 80% of the way to 6 Star he will earn the 2nd installment. In October his QDV is 265,000. He is still over 80% of the way to reaching 6 Star so he will receive the 3rd installment. In November his QDV jumps to 330,000 and he achieves the 6 Star Rank again. He will continue receiving the monthly installments as long as his QDV does not drop below 80% of 300,000.

[i] 4.3 BONUS BUYING PROHIBITED Bonus buying is strictly prohibited. “Bonus buying”; includes: (a) the enrollment of individuals or entities without the knowledge of and/or execution of an Independent Distributor Application and Agreement by such individuals or entities; (b) the fraudulent enrollment of an individual or entity as a Distributor or Preferred Customer (including but not limited to the enrolling of minors or those without the capacity to enter into legally binding contracts); (c) the enrollment or attempted enrollment of non-existent individuals or entities as Distributors or Preferred Customers (“phantoms”;); (d) the use of a credit card by or on behalf of a Distributor or Preferred Customer when the Distributor or Preferred Customer is not the account holder of such credit card, unless prior arrangements have been made for the Distributor or Preferred Customer receiving the Product or service to reimburse the credit card holder on a timely basis where the purchase assistance is provided as an accommodation to the purchaser who may not have a credit card and not simply to accelerate a purchase into any given commission or bonus period or cycle; (e) Purchasing Sisel merchandise on behalf of another Distributor or Preferred Customer, or under another Distributor’s or Preferred Customer’s I.D. number, to qualify for commissions or bonuses.

[ii] 4.30 STACKING “Stacking” is strictly prohibited. The term “stacking” includes: (a) the failure to transmit to Sisel or the holding of an Independent Distributor Application and Agreement in excess of two business days after its execution; (b) the placement or manipulation of Independent Distributor Applications and Agreements for the purpose of maximizing compensation pursuant to Sisel’s Marketing and Compensation Plan; or (c) providing financial assistance to new Distributors for the purpose of maximizing compensation pursuant to Sisel’s Marketing and Compensation Plan; (d) violating the one business per Distributor rule; and/or (e) enrolling fictitious individuals or entities into the Sisel compensation plan.

[iii] 7.2.1 ADJUSTMENTS FOR RETURNED PRODUCTS Distributors receive bonuses and commissions based on the actual sales of products to end consumers. When a product is returned to Sisel for a refund or is repurchased by the Company, any bonuses and commissions attributable to the returned or repurchased product(s) that is paid to Distributors will be deducted from subsequent bonus and commission payments until the commission is recovered.

[iv] The Rank Advancement Bonus is a promotional bonus, and is not guaranteed to remain in the Sisel Global Compensation Plan. Sisel reserves the right to change the Global Compensation Plan at any time.

Update from October 2016 –

Congratulations to those who have achieved higher ranks in October, and will receive their Rank Advancement Bonus (RAB)! When we designed the RAB, our hope was that it would create leaders, increase retention and reward distributors for their hard work. We have been delighted as we have watched leaders step up and increase sales, reach new ranks and earn even greater commissions. As we continue with this exciting new addition to the Sisel Global Compensation Plan in select markets, we are encouraged by the activity that it has created, and we want to congratulate those who have done it properly and ethically.

However, as we have looked at the methodology used by some downlines and individuals to receive the RAB, it has been inconsistent with our policies and procedures. This will not result in the increased growth we were hoping to achieve and will disqualify them from commissions they may have otherwise earned. Please take note of sections 4.3 Bonus Buying[i], 4.30 Stacking[ii] and 7.2.1 Adjustments for Returned Products[iii] within Sisel’s Policies and Procedures.

Consequently, we have added modifications to the RAB to clarify what is required to earn these bonuses and what behavior is inappropriate and will lead to disqualification[iv].

We are now in the process of filtering those who have rightfully qualified and will receive the RAB from those who have disqualified themselves by violating Sisel’s Policies and Procedures. The monies for the RAB have been set aside and will be paid out once Sisel has done the necessary due diligence.

As we sort through the potential RAB recipients, three different scenarios will occur.

  1. RABs that are easily identified as valid will be calculated and paid.

  2. Payout of RABs from downlines with multiple discrepancies will be delayed as we manually review and calculate the correct bonus.

  3. Those who have violated the Policies and Procedures will not receive the RAB at all.

We plan to continue with the new RAB with clarifying guidelines to make this a long-term addition[iv] to the compensation plan.
